Virginia Creeper is a native vine that is strong, vigorous climber. Don’t worry about giving it support, its tendril will hold on to anything. You wouldn’t think this vine would flower but in the spring it does produce small inconspicuous greenish/white flower in late spring that are often hidden by the thick foliage. These little flowers are actually very pollinator friendly by providing nectar to bees, wasps. Leaves change throughout the season, in spring starting with a purple tint, changing to a dull green in summer and then in fall bursting into a crimson red. Little maintenance is needed, but this vine does need to be kept in check. More effective if grown on a brick or stone wall, fences, and trellis. Virginia creeper is also good for erosion control or a simple ground cover.

If you are not satisfied within the first 5 days of the planting of your shrub give us a call so we can make it right. Shrubs and plants are living organisms and require care, maintenance and protection in order to survive, root in and establish properly. Shrubs that do not survive despite receiving the proper care, maintenance and protection within the first year will be considered for a one-time replacement.
