1. Planting: Select a location with full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Plant at the same depth as grown in the nursery and provide room for canes to spread and receive good air circulation.
2. Watering: Maintain evenly moist soil during establishment and throughout flowering and berry production. Deep watering during dry periods supports healthy growth and fruit quality.
3. Mulching: Apply organic mulch around the base of plants to conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil structure as the material breaks down.
4. Pruning: Remove canes that have finished fruiting after harvest. Retain healthy new canes, which will produce the following season’s crop.
